Jacob is a professional programmer currently working in the clinical trials industry. With nearly 5 years of experience he is a certified Rave EDC study builder. Jacob also has extensive C# experience along with knowledge of python, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS. During his spare time he enjoys drawing in pen & ink (most landscapes), writing poetry, playing chess, and programming hobby projects.

Statement on AI
Short Version
While AI is a helpful tool that I occasionally use to help me research answers to programming problems I’m stuck on, I never use it to create work or parts of my work for me. All content I make is created solely by me.
Long Version
Drawing & poetry:
I never use AI in any capacity when creating a drawing or poem.
Programming:
When programming I’m always in the driver’s seat: designing things from scratch, problem solving, making decisions, etc. However, I will occasionally consult AI as a sort of “research assistant” when I get so stuck on a problem that I’m not even sure what to Google search. Concepts are then searched and learned until I either come up with a solution by myself or independently verify AI’s suggested solution. I never use AI to think, problem solve, or generate code for me.
